Stephen Graves published A Crisis in Leadership in 2016. He was hired that year by Mizzou and has gained support from students and the community for his role in social justice causes. The amount of control over government and the media exercised by the 1% pits various minority groups against each other and most against the government. The anger and frustration this generates in the swamp of helplessness moves some to think violent revolution is the only option. Stephen was able to vent these feelings and views that resonate with so many.
