Humanizing the Homeless with David Webber

Above and beyond his teaching job, David has spent countless hours talking with and volunteering to assist with the homeless in Columbia, MO. We hear about his way of interacting that consistently humanizes those homeless neighbors.
David Webber is a professor emeritus in political science at the University of Missouri-Columbia and is an instructor at the Asian Affairs Center. He also has written many columns for the Columbia Missourian and four plays dealing with the homeless. We learn about some of the pros and cons of public policy pertaining to our homeless neighbors and how many churches and non-for-profit groups attempt to fill in some of the big gaps. There is much more that can be done and humanizing the homeless plays a big role in that.
