"Master Archivist at Lincoln U" with Mark Schleer
Mark Schleer grew up in Jefferson City, MO, went off to college, and came back to work and do more schooling. Along the way, he struggled with alcoholism and has been a recovering alcoholic since 2005. Marriage, a masters degree, and fulltime work at LU as an archivist are highlights.
Mark Schleer is the Archivist at the Lincoln University of Missouri library. An undergrad BA in history and later MA in history made this job fit like a glove although it seemed to come to him "out of the blue." He and his wife, who's from Mississippi, met online. It was a match made in heaven. Mark has many talents and a great love for LU, its history, and its students.
