Retired "Wild Man" with Michael Cochran

From West Plains MO in '44 to Mizzou in '62 to Springfield MO in '77 where he now resides, Michael Cochran has been loyal to family, friends, music, and writing. We talked about threads of each of those groups and stories of how they made a beautiful "aleatory" tapestry.
Michael Cochran refers to himself as a "retired wild man" (see Robert Bly's Iron John). Infinite possibilities lead to limited possibilities on their way to probabilities unless we are guided by an unseen hand. We didn't talk about any of that, but it applies. The youngest of 3 brothers growing up in West Plains MO listening to Chet Atkins on the radio inspired them to take up guitar playing and then to drive to Nashville to meet him. He met performing musician Lee Ruth in a freshman astronomy class at Mizzou in '62. Forest ranger service and catching a radio ad led to years in radio broadcasting (KFRU and KGBX). 200 good friends showed up for his 70th birthday party in Boonville. Just enjoy listening!
