The Hound with Ed Herrmann

Ed Herrmann has worked in music for years in Chicago and San Francisco. His friend and colleague Mark Hardy composed the music to go with H.P. Lovecraft's short story, The Hound. Ed is the narrator of this lament. We talk about Ed and the culture we live in as bookends to the piece.
Ed Herrmann is the narrator of The Hound by H.P. Lovecraft arranged by Mark Hardy. Ed is the host of Flight Risk on kopn.org. "Ed Herrmann’s professional background includes extensive work as an audio engineer, radio host, and producer. In addition to his work as an audio engineer, he has composed music for dance, theater, and radio." Ed studied electronic music composition at Mizzou under Thomas McKenney. He also was a volunteer programmer at kopn.org back in the late 70s and early 80s before he went off to San Francisco and Chicago. We're glad he's back in Columbia and programming again on kopn.
